Synopsis:

In some of Cleveland Ohio’s most dangerous, trauma-laden neighborhoods, a unique subculture of dancers use the powerful expression of Krump to find mental, and emotional support by frequenting therapeutic dance meetings that are aptly named "The Sessions."

Chris Webb

Chris Webb is a spoken word artist, filmmaker, and activist from Cleveland, Ohio. He was ranked amongst the 30 most interesting people in Cleveland by Cleveland Magazine, is a graduate of the California Institute of the Arts, the 2018 winner of the Cleveland Film Incubator, and a touring artist with the worlds largest Spoken Word tour. Chris investigates the fusion of film, poetry, live installation, and storytelling. His work has been featured by TedX, the Huffington Post, and HBO. During 2019 Chris will travel to Kenya, London, Barbados, and around the U.S. to showcase his original work.

Conrad Miles

Conrad Miles is a dancer, filmmaker, drone operator, and content creator from Cleveland, Ohio. His first original film, "Bullied" has garnered hundreds of thousands of views on social media platforms. Conrad travels nationally to give unique perspectives to artists with international acclaim. As a dancer, Conrad's skills are rarely matched. He is a frequent winner of Krump competitions, traveling internationally to compete at some of the highest levels of the genre. Conrad brings passion, insight, and thought-provoking perspective to his work, and wants to showcase unique stories in new and provocative ways.
