Synopsis:

When George Hunt and Molly Warner stumbled upon 'lesbian seagulls' on Santa Barbara Island in 1972, they didn’t expect the discovery to make national headlines. But the media frenzy, political outrage, and scientific uproar were just the beginning of a story that would transform their lives—and put their relationship to the test.

Angel Morris

Angel Morris is a nonbinary producer and editor located in San Diego, CA. They are an editor at Day's Edge Productions, as well as Think Lemonade Post. They have worked on numerous broadcast and digital productions for companies like PBS, Smithsonian Channel, World Wildlife Fund, and more. In 2021, they were accepted as a Jackson Wild Summit Fellow, and produced their award-winning first film, Diving for Rays, that same year. As a queer person in the industry, they hope to inspire other LGBTQ+ filmmakers, so that more stories can be heard, and more work can be done to take care of our planet and those on it.

Elliott Kennerson

Elliott Kennerson is a San Diego-born producer who specializes in post production. He is the recipient of three Regional Emmys for his work on Deep Look, a co-production of KQED and PBS Digital Studios, and the originator of Animal R&R, an Emmy-nominated wildlife rescue series for KPBS San Diego. Elliott did his M.F.A. in natural history filmmaking at Montana State and holds a B.A. from Yale in archaeology. He lives with his partner and their dog, Magnolia.
