Katya Berger is a director and producer whose work combines journalism, art and advocacy to tell educational stories aimed to move audiences and inspire action. She produced One Thousand Voices in collaboration with contemporary artist Owanto, an immersive sound installation composed of audio testimonies from female genital mutilation survivors which was exhibited in museums worldwide. Previously, she was a producer for Quotidien Avec Yann Barthès, Sept à Huit and UN Women. She has directed two short documentaries, Becoming Cyborg (Scientific American, 2017) and Flowers (EDAN TV, 2019).
