Kristoffer “Tops” Brugada

Kristoffer “Tops” Brugada is an award-winning documentary filmmaker, screenwriter, producer and professional lecturer from the Philippines. Kristoffer has over a decade of experience in Philippine broadcast industry and has led film productions that have won international awards such as the Peabody Award, the New York Festivals Gold and Silver Medals, and Japan Prize for TV. A film graduate of the University of the Philippines Film Institute, Kristoffer also writes narrative films, and he recently won Best Short Film at the 3rd Quisumbing Escandor Film Festival.

Cha Escala

Cha Escala is an award-winning documentary filmmaker, producer and editor from the Philippines. Her first feature-length film “Nick and Chai” has competed at international film festivals such as International Documentary Festival Amsterdam, Busan International Film Festival, and New Caledonia Film Festival, where it won the Audience Choice Award. Cha has attended numerous film workshops and pitching fora such as Berlinale Talent Campus, Docsport Incheon, Tokyo Talents, AsiaDoc Documentary Scriptwriting Residency among many others. A film graduate of the University of the Philippines Film Institute, her thesis film “Intoy’s Christmas” was awarded best production thesis in 2007.
